This is for all of my working friends. Give this notice to your loved ones too so they don't get screwed in 2010 on taxes. In the stimulus package Obama signed into effect in February, he gave the extra money to the tax payers he promised by changing the amount of Federal Income Tax withheld from your pay check. In other words, Obama increased your paycheck by having the Feds withhold less. This does not mean that you won't have to pay back that money in next years taxes in April. If the fed gov is not taxing you on the money now, TRUST ME, they will get their money next year in April.

I got this notice from Human Resources:

"Making Work Pay Credit

This is the credit that forms the tax-reduction centerpiece of the legislation. Unlike past stimulus initiatives, in which the government sent checks to taxpayers, the ARRA provides more take-home pay by reducing the amount of federal income tax withheld from paychecks.

Generally, single taxpayers will get an additional $400 per year in the 2009 and 2010 tax years. Married couples that file jointly will get $800 per year.

Advice: Be prepared to help employees figure out whether they’ll need to make further withholding adjustments. The way the law is structured, certain taxpayers could wind up owing more when they file their 2009 and 2010 taxes.

Stay tuned for more information. The IRS has been tasked with developing regulations for how to handle the tax credit adjustments—but that hasn’t happened yet."

If you don't want to get hit hard by Federal Income Tax on April 15, 2010, then I suggest you get with your Human Resource lady at your work place and get her to change it back to the amount of fed withholding it was BEFORE the law passed in February. I know I am.

One time, my friend was driving us back from this mall like 40 miles away. Her mom gave us the wrong directions so it took us like 2 hours to find our way. Then on the way back I was giving directions, and we were heading North on the freeway instead of South, while my other friend said to go South. Ever since she's never let us live it down.

You want to know a really embarrassing story?? It happened just this Thanksgiving to me actually.

I ran into a hanging lamp. Yup, a hanging lamp. Mind you, I'm only 5'2. I was at my grandma's and there is usually a recliner in front of it, so I completely avoid going that way (everyone does really) and we had taken it out because of everyone that was there. And I ran right into it. And of course guess what?? I have the family that enjoys teasing everyone for eternity about things and being sarcastic. So it was my day to get picked on all day. And I still get it too. And I knew as soon as I hit it I was getting it that whole day because two of my aunts saw.

Yup, that is how bad I am sometimes. lol

One time I was longboard down this really big hill. It was up in the mountains (kinda). Well anyway I felt really cool and so I was like hey I can totally board down this!

Well I went down and there was a sharp turn, I fell skidded about 30 feet with my chin, and it hurt so much. I cried. ><

that would have to hurt Sheol.

With me, I can't hit a softball really to save my life, but get me playing baseball and I'll be fine. I used to play baseball when I was younger, but then I stopped and got into soccer. Then that got too hard for me and the asthma didn't help at all.

So now I pretty much don't play any sports. Although I like volleyball.

At my school last year, we had an "Olympia Day" which was actually just a field day/game day. We were in a kickball tournament (and we used to have recess- in 8th grade- that we would play kickball in...) and I was in right field (where I used to play in baseball) and the people would kick the ball to me. I actually ended up catching like every ball that came my way. So the other team decided that they were going to start hitting it towards the other side, and that's where my ex-boyfriend was and had a sprained wrist. And yet he still managed to do well....so yeah....

The only sport I'm actually good at is also soft ball. I was horrible at it when I was younger cause the teachers kept making me bat right handed. I would walk up and stand on the left handed side of the plate cause it felt comfortable, but they always moved me to the righty side.

They did that cause they knew I wrote with my right hand. Now, I'm left handed ambidextrious, cause up until I was in third grade I went to a private catholic school, and then I was switched to a public school when I moved. At the private school, all the nuns would wack my hand with the ruler if I wrote with my left hand,... they made me switch to my right hand. The coaches at the public school didn't know that, so they assumed I was a righty.

When one of my friends informed me in high school that a lefty stands on the other side of the plate, I started hitting home runs like a natural. So that's why I could never hit the ball when I was little! Unfortunately,... it didn't improve my catching abilities any. The ball still always hit me in the face.

I am completely unathletic and proud of it! I tried bowling once but...it didn't go so well. Mostly gutter balls. So instead I stay home and think up ideas for my stories. :)

When I was younger I tried my hand at soccer, basketball, and softball, the last one being the only one that I was actually any good at. Blasting the ball to the back of the outfield and nearly into the road is always a good thing. ^_^

They weren't quite "homeruns" but they were pretty close to it! Still we never actually won any games...

Plus I have asthma so any athletic talent that I might have is currently shoved aside by that and my complete lack of interest in sports at this moment in time.

I am completely unathletic and proud of it! I just am no good when it comes to sports...except for baseball or softball though. I would have gotten a homerun that one time if it hadn't gone swerving to the right and been a foul...darn it.

Wow, I would pass out if I did all that. I've just been relaxing doing nothing all summer except writing. lol.

I suck at bowling. My bowls either end in a strike or go in the gutter... there is never any inbetween hits with me. lol.
