Black Jade [Mar 21 2009 at 12:47:48 PM]	Hmm, anime would definitely be Dragonball Z and yes, even Sailor Moon. My brother was a big fan of Dragonball Z and I remember watchign Sailor Moon every afternoon on Toonami, (man...how long ago was that now? Then there was a lull before I saw the Zoids series air on Toonami as well and that's when my love of all things anime/manga/Japanese was lit full force. As for manga, hmm... well my older brother gave me some Naruto manga (before it completely exploded that is) and I picked up a copy Shonen Jump that I saw in a grocery store and things built up from there.

I feel old now, cause I saw this in about 1993? 1994?) manga would actually be Yu-Gi-Oh! from way back in about 1996...

Example: Lockon Stratos of Gundam 00 who just bit the dust. When I saw the episodes Monday (there were 4 in a row instead of 2) I KNEW he was going down but it was still so SAD! Left as an orphan because of a terrorist attack and hunting for revenge he was too tragic of a character to go on...but its still a shame to loose such a pretty face don't you think? ^_^ Then again there is Euphiemia from Code Geass. Everyone loved her but still someone noble and just must also go down. It's in the "How To Create a Great Anime Handbook" Also said and very frustrating for me. I was so upset when that happened.

Rule #27 for Anime: Every year there must be at least ONE anime with strange/unpronouncable character names. Example? Try Tieria Erde from Gundam 00 (currently running in the Sci-fi channel) or even worse, Mu La Flaga from Gundam SEED, and Cancer Kafka from Turn A Gundam, and that last one is a WOMAN mind you. Rule # 28 for Anime: L of Death Note has the fastest metabolism of any anime character ever. Rule #29 for Anime: Become an insane anime fan and you risk being called a Narutard, Death Nerd, Bleach Bum, Ouran Moran, Foolmetal Alchemist, Gundimwit, or a Gurrencompoop. Those are from Naruto, Death Note, Bleach, Ouran High School Host Club, Fullmetal Alchemist, the Gundam series, and Gurren Lagann. I got them out of the magazine 'Anime Insider' which is awsome by the way. Rule #30 for Anime: Shojo anime (anime for girls) such as Negima! or Ouran High School Host Club shall never be shown on Adult Swim or on TV period by the look of it. That's right, go be sad ladies. Rule #31 for Anime: Sailor Moon will NEVER GO AWAY. Rule #32 for Anime: Dragonball Z will never die and shall forever continue to make money for its creator. Rule #33 for Anime: Pokemon shall rule forever whether we want it too or not. That's all I have for now but feel free to add your own!
