There is a new fan of Tokio Hotel and it is none other than...my mom.

We have a, fairly old, stereo system and I decided to play the CD one afternoon. Well my mom heard it and wanted to see the case.

She actually took out the lyrics and started singing along to ALL of the songs!! 1000 Oceans and Monsoon are her favorites. She tried singing along to Durch Den Monsoon but of course its in german so that didn't go over very well. I heard her "singing" it later on, and messing up most of the words, but she tried nonetheless.

My mom has always listened to all of my music and she also likes Evanescence and says that Amy Lee has a nice voice. Her favorite songs are Call Me When Your Sober and Lacrymosa.

My dad usually just rolls his eyes and tells me to turn it down or shut it off.

So how about everyone else? Do your parents approve of what you listen to? Or do they not worry about it?

I checked out Amazon already and nearly burst into tears. I want those CD's so BAD!!!! I don't understand foreign money either so I guess we're in the same boat there.

I know that when I told my friends and older brother they were like "who the heck is that?" so I'm glad I'm not the only Tokio Hotel fan around here!

Did you know that Bill has a major sweet tooth? In one clip I saw of him he was shopping at a supermarket and when he saw the candy aisle it was like he was in heaven!! I nearly fell out of my chair laughing at how he was all but mesmerized by the section of sweets.

I think someone loves their candy just a LITTLE too much! ^_^

Oh, you can get their other cds, Zimmer 483 and Schrei, off of Amazon. But be prepared... import cds are pricey! It makes me wanna cry at times.

You can also try to get it from their home page, but I don't understand foreign money. lol.

Yea, I listen to Tokio Hotel too. I first heard them a few years ago around 2005. I'm really into German rock (I have a ton of Rammstein albums too). They're so awesome!

I'm surprised to hear someone else listens to them, they're not well known in America. I thought I was the only one who knew who they were. lol.

...I have just become a bona fide groupie....

About a week ago I bought the Scream CD by Tokio Hotel and now I cannot get enough of those guys!!!

I LOVE their songs because they actually mean something. And when I finally get some money I'm going to track down their German CD releases as well.

I always used to laugh at those girls screaming hysterically and waiting for hours or even days just to get into a concert; I'm not at that point but am rapidly approching it as scary as it may be. ^_-

I looked up more information on Tokio Hotel and happend to wander over Tokio Hotel TV on Youtube. Each clip ranges from 1 to 8 or 9 minutes long and they show what happens on the road, at concerts, and when the guys are relaxing. It was really interesting to see what they do on their down time.

I have also now seen plenty video clips of Bill (the one with the giant hair) dancing and singing then I ever wanted to. Yu haven't seen funny until you've seen him dancing to Michael Jackson's song Beat It. ^_^

So does anybody else LOVE this group or am I the only girl here with major stars in her eyes?

I like Linkin park too. They have some pretty radd songs. And they're an awesome group. My personal favorites are:
Jonas Brothers (<3)
Paramore
Rihanna
Maroon 5
Boys Like Girls
There are more I just can't think today.

I must have well over 200 CDs... most of it is rock/ hard rock/ heavy metal/ death metal stuff... but some of it is jazz and classical rock and what not. I'm listening to Mushroomhead right now... I will be lightly surprised if anyone knows who that is cause of how old of a hard rock band they are now.

I was really into music in high school and if the money from my job wasn't going into a savings account, it was going into CDs and anime. lol.

My music tastes are so varied it's ridiculous... -_-

At the moment I am actually listening to Evanescence as I type this post. But I also like Nickleback, a song or two from Three Days Grace and Green Day. Then too I have Paramore's new CD, I just couldn't resist. :p

Sean Kingston, Rhianna, Maroon 5, Leona Lewis has an AMAZING voice, and I even listen to Hillary Duff and, yes I still have some Backstreet Boys CD's that I listen to every now and then. Say what you want but those guys can really sing!

So here are the CD's that I actually own at the moment.

Gorillaz
Paramore (Riot)
Evanescence (The Open Door)
Madonna (Confessions On A Dance Floor)
Hillary Duff (Dignity)
Backstreet Boys
Backstreet Boys (Millenium
Lord of the Dance (it's celtic music I think)

I would have more but I don't have the money so I remain satisfied with these. Classical music too can be very soothing and calming in my opinion.

I've been dying to get some CD's by Utada Hikaru. She is a HUGE music artist in Japan, even bigger then Madonna I here. When I finally get a job I'm going to buy some of her music.

So those are my two cents on the whole music topic.
